Nope, I am not going to say I photographed this finch in the wild. It's done in the Territory Wildlife Park where it's much easier to approach animals and photograph them through the glass. It belongs to a group of finches called Firetails. They live in several forms and species in the northern parts of Australia. Regarding the lively colours, this must be a male. |
