When I woke up the first morning in Tasmania, I looked out of the window and saw a little swallow sitting next to me. I photographed it. It wasn't before labelling my slides in Germany, I found out it's officially called the Welcome Swallow, Hirundo neoxena.
Something that made me smile later on. During my second stay in Tasmania I found again just one swallow, this time at the Blue Tier. |
