As a relief from the Red centre Resort this time we stayed in the middle of the town having a choice of restaurants within walking distance. Anyway our temper was low, as our guide told us there were 24 hours of shopping in Alice - and he lives in Alice Springs. So we went to our rooms, relaxed and then went out to realize most of the shops were closed as it was after 5 p.m. Very few were open a bit longer, but before 8 p.m. the town goes to sleep. So use the perfect shopping place early - later it may be to late. |
