Castaways on the Beach in Mission Beach

The Castaways is the only hotel directly on the shoreline of Mission Beach. That may be because the ocean isn't safe there, too many stingers. But the Castaways has a netting so I went swimming in the evening and it was great as seldom.

I came to the hotel desk with a special request that may have been a problem or result in extra charges.
There was no problem and no extra charge.
