As there is plenty of room in the outback, all hotels and resorts are large enough to drive to the rooms by bus. The Kings Canyon Resort is a quite good example for that. Guess, there is about a kilometre between the dinner room an the breakfast room. The place is not luxurious, but it's got a pool, washmachines and - as each hotel we stayed in the Outback - air condition. The culture program in the evening is certainly a matter of taste, but it's getting better with a beer or two... The resort is not really close to Kings Canyon, but as close as it gets. |
