Devil's Marbles

Devil's Marbles
stone cut in halfes
The Devil's Marbles are a funny phenomenon of nature. Erosion left all these round cobbles lying ontop of each other as if giants or the devil had played with them. The smaller ones have a diameter of about 1 meter, the big ones certainly more than 3 metres. Most of them are well rounded without any sharp edges. But they do suffer of erosion, rather chemical than physical I think. And sometimes it really cuts them down as if hit by thunderbolt. This stone has some 1.5 metres diameter.
To visit them, just follow the signs from the Stuart highway.
