Kuranda encounters

with male Eclectus parrotIn fact it is pretty easy to see Australian animals from quite close. At least for people used to European terms. But indeed not everyone comes across a cassowary or other rare birds in the wild. So the method of choice is to go to a bird sanctuary and see what can be done there.
In Kuranda it's people entering the birds place. And they are trained to be friendly with people as one can notice pretty soon. I could have done with an entire Australian birdlife there, but I do understand Australian visitors may find cockatoos, cassowarys and lorikeets pretty boring. So there are some Macaws and foreign doves as well. Now the problem is on my side to find out which of my pictures are of Australian birds...
