In Lamington National Park

tree above the valleyThe forrest of Lamington National Park is impressive. Different types can be found close together - one even can feel it with eyes closed. For all of the stay in Australia I was impressed by the stems of the trees mostly being pale or white perfectly matching blue skies and dark backgrounds alike.
And we had the first scenic encounters with our faithful Queensland companion: the Platycerium fern, a harmless decorative epiphyt sometimes growing on after the supporting tree died.
