Yellow Honeyeater

Juvenile Yellow Honeyeater, (Lichenostomus flavus)
This graceful birdie isn't fully matured yet, once grown up it will be really yellow as the name suggests. And this picture teaches me - and maybe more people, too - honeyeaters do like different types of food. And carefully thinking of it, it might be difficult to make a living entirely of carbohydrates.
The picture was taken in Kuranda Birdworld, so I wasn't sure it shows an Australian bird at all. But friendly visitors of this site, Donna and Dale, helped me to find out.
