Flying foxes are quite common where they find food enough. We had our first encounter with them on Daydream island, these guys hang around in the Territory Wildlife Park.
In fact there were much much more, possibly thousands of them in the forrest part of the park. But it's much easier to hear them than to photograph them, so I am satisfied with this picture.
