Yes, Galapagos is not like other places. The circumstances are pretty unreal sometimes. But the masses of sea lions are real - and very common. I remember our guide saying the second day: "Please do me a favour. Do not photograph each sealion - you'll find enough to get fed up with them." We did not - some guys of us risked serious injuries to save the life of one of them - but they were bored of us. Only their children were (sometimes) still interested in human beings.
